Zahler Construction & Development

About

Whether it is maintaining the natural beauty of existing neighborhoods or developing the next generation of communities, we manage the construction process on paper and on site.  We bring a broad knowledge of products, a high level of craftsmanship, and a commitment to sustainable practices to every project.

Our Story

William Zahler founded Zahler Construction & Development on the tradition of honest workmanship and integrity started by his grandfather three generations ago.  He began his own general contracting and construction management company in Richmond, Virginia at the age of 22, and was at the forefront of that city’s explosive growth in the 1990’s.  William was a Division Manager for Struever Rouse Homes and a Senior Vice President for Artery Homes.  He approaches every project from “both sides of the blueprint,” with experience managing site selection, development financing, design, and on-site construction management.  William was a Board Member of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, The Certified Master Builders and Remodelers Council (former President), and is the Founding Co-Chair of the Maryland Residential Green Building Council.  He holds a BSBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. William received his MBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Development from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Gina Zahler brings almost two decades of experience in marketing, sales, operations, and contract management to Zahler Construction & Development.  She spent 15 years in Residential Apartment Community Management, and was a buyer and client manager for award winning interior design firm Patrick Sutton Associates in Baltimore, Maryland.  She specializes in assisting our clients with design selections for their projects.  Gina is a member of Certified Interior Decorators International, and offers our clients the latest innovations in materials, green building methods, and home design concepts.
